Soccer Recap: Perris Takes a Loss

Perris lost against Citrus Hill back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Perris Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Citrus Hill Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 993rd, while the Hawks are ranked 437th).

Perris has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Citrus Hill, their record now sits at 9-2-3.

Perris will welcome Moreno Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Citrus Hill, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Citrus Hill take on the Rancho Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
