Baseball Recap: Parkview Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Parkview owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Bolles Bulldogs. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Parkview got a great performance from JT Whritenour as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave Whritenour a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Parkview's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Emani Ford, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another was Miles Norman, who scored a run and stole a base.

Parkview's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Bolles, they moved to 15-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Parkview will face off against St. Johns Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bolles, they will take on St. Joseph Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
