Wheeler faced Denmark in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wildcats skirted past Denmark 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against Denmark last Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Wheeler who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 26-28, 15-10.

Wheeler's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Denmark, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Wheeler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Harrison on the 29th. Denmark does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
