Softball Recap: Gainesville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gainesville's offense. They came up short against the Seckinger Jaguars on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The Red Elephants have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Seckinger, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Gainesville and Seckinger could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Red Elephants (ranked 277th) will meet Roswell (ranked 130th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Seckinger will take on Wesleyan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (87 vs. 14).
