Josh Smith Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Arp was led to victory by Josh Smith, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Smith rushed for 300 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 17.6 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (117.4). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.

Arp is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers faces off against Winona at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Dalton Walker Turns in Season-Best Performance

Elkhart came up short on Friday despite Dalton Walker delivering his best game to date. Walker rushed for 260 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.

Elkhart dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Walker and Elkhart will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Winona at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Dejuan Johnson Delivers Electric Performance Vs Troup

New Diana picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dejuan Johnson. Johnson was dynamite, rushing for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 98 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

New Diana pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Johnson and New Diana will square off against Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

New Diana Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Davyon Mapps

Davyon Mapps's big game helped extend New Diana's winning streak to seven on Friday. Mapps' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards dating back to last season.

For the year, Mapps has averaged 124.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 73.29 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Wells As Troup Fell 35-11

Rounding off our Top Five is Brett Wells of Troup. Wells rushed for 115 yards on only 15 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending two passes.

Wells and Troup will head out on the road to face off against West Rusk at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Wells up against the Raiders' star running back Hunter Mccandless. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
