Softball Recap: Seiling Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Seiling barely beat Chisholm the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 8-2 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Seiling's seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Chisholm, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.

Coming up, Seiling will be playing in front of their home fans against Hammon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Chisholm has already played their next matchup (against Mulhall-Orlando), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
