After losing to Classical Academy the last time they met, Santa Fe Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Santa Fe Christian Eagles slipped by the Classical Academy Caimans 36-35 on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won three games in a row.

Santa Fe Christian was led to victory by Piper Lenihan and Jaedyn Davis. Lenihan posted 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals, while Davis had six points along with seven boards and six steals. Lenihan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played.

Santa Fe Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Classical Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Santa Fe Christian and La Costa Canyon will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Izzy Alexander and Lenihan. As for Classical Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ramona at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Classical Academy is facing Ramona at the right time seeing as Ramona is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
