Baseball Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

Kennett suffered their closest loss since May 5, 2025 on Monday. They fell just short of the Dexter Bearcats by a score of 3-1. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bearcats earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Kennett and nudges their season record down to 12-10. As for Dexter, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Kennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dexter, they will challenge Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Bearcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
