Soccer Recap: Colo-NESCO Comes Up Short at Home Against Greene County

Colo-NESCO unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greene County Rams on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Colo-NESCO of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Greene County moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Colo-NESCO has already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Ottumwa on the 5th. As for Greene County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 victory against East Marshall on the 3rd.
