Lincoln is 9-0 against Galileo since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lincoln Mustangs will host the Galileo Lions at 5:30 p.m. Lincoln's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Galileo's offense will have their work cut out for them.

While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 650th, while the Cardinals are ranked 277th).

Galileo's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Lincoln, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.

Everything went Lincoln's way against Galileo when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Lincoln made off with a 64-43 victory. In that matchup, Lincoln amassed a halftime lead of 46-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
