The Liberty-Eylau Leopards will face off against the Gladewater Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Liberty-Eylau strolled past Tatum with points to spare, taking the game 28-13. The victory continues a trend for the Leopards in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Arian Taylor
| 10/03/25 @ Tatum | 187 |
| 09/19/25 @ Bullard | 115 |
| 09/12/25 @ Carthage | 53 |
| 09/05/25 vs Henderson | 45 |
| 08/29/25 vs Pittsburg | 121 |
Arian Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 187 yards and four touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 104.2 rushing yards per game.
Meanwhile, while Gladewater put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Sabine. The Bears blew past the Cardinals 47-0. Considering the Bears have won three games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Liberty-Eylau better focus on containing Achilles Hess and Carsin Cooper as the pair were huge in Gladewater's win. Hess rushed for 68 yards and one TD, while Cooper rushed for 69 yards and a pair of scores. What's more, Cooper posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.
Gladewater was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 262 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 167 rushing yards in 11 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Gladewater's defense and their four sacks. Marquis Rutherford was especially locked on to Sabine's QB and sacked him three times. Mason Budro was another major factor on D, making 15 total tackles and defending one pass.
Gladewater's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Liberty-Eylau, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Liberty-Eylau has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 178.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Gladewater struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 274.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Liberty-Eylau strolled past Gladewater in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 49-34. Do the Leopards have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
