Soccer Recap: Yosemite Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Yosemite brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their defense stepped up to hand the McLane Highlanders a 5-0 shutout on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Badgers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit McLane with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Delaney Franklin (2), Farrah Franklin (2), and Clarisse Beaumont.

Yosemite moved to 2-4-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for McLane, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Yosemite has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Sunnyside on the 13th. As for McLane, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Dos Palos on the 10th.
