Valley Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bible Baptist Christian Eagles 62-28. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Lions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 744th in California, while the Eagles are ranked 278th in Georgia).

Valley Christian Academy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.5 points per game. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Valley Christian Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Coastal Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so Coastal Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Byne Christian at 6:00 p.m.
