Terrell Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Valwood Valiants 14-2 on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Terrell Academy, bringing their record up to 20-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Valwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

As of now, neither Terrell Academy nor the Valiants have any future games scheduled.
