Baseball Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Jefferson County's offense. They came up short against the Dublin Fighting Irish on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jefferson County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Duncan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Jefferson County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Dublin, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Dublin beat Jefferson County by a score of 12-2 later that day.
