The home team had won the previous four meetings between Hebron Christian and Prince Avenue Christian, and Prince Avenue Christian kept the tradition alive. Hebron Christian fell just short of Prince Avenue Christian by a score of 4-2 on Monday. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 9-1 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hebron Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Stallworth, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Hebron Christian's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

While Hebron Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
