Softball Recap: North Mahaska Comes Up Short

North Mahaska lost against Pleasantville back in July of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warhawks fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-4. The Warhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Mahaska's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Pleasantville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Mahaska will venture away from home to take on Cardinal on Wednesday. As for Pleasantville, they will square off against Exira-EHK on Wednesday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
