The North Penn-Mansfield Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Odessa-Montour as North Penn-Mansfield made off with a 54-30 victory. That 54-30 margin sets a new team best for North Penn-Mansfield this season.
North Penn-Mansfield was led to victory by McKenna Lightner and Kameron Lightner. Lightner dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Lightner dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Lightner continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Addison Hill was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
North Penn-Mansfield has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Odessa-Montour, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Penn-Mansfield will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Dundee/Bradford Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Odessa-Montour, they will challenge Candor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
