Cairo had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the ten-goal drubbing they dealt Dougherty on Tuesday. The Syrupmakers never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering Cairo have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Dougherty from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Elias Vasquez-Nolasco led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win was the third in a row for Cairo, bringing their record up to 9-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those three contests. As for Dougherty, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Cairo will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
