Basketball Game Preview: ABF Academy Cowboys vs. Coral Gables Cavaliers

The ABF Academy Cowboys just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Coral Gables Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, ABF Academy made off with a 79-78 win over Academy of Central Florida Regional. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead ABF Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sebastian Paez, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Eric Dibami, who put up 19 points.

Meanwhile, Coral Gables ended up a good deal behind Miami on Friday and lost 75-59. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Stingarees recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

ABF Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.2 points per game. As for Coral Gables, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
