Laurel came out on top against Fergus on Friday thanks in part to Krew Hunter's efforts. Hunter rushed for 25 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 136 yards and one touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing touchdowns he has had since back in September of 2024.

Hunter and Laurel will square off against East Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Locomotives got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Vigilantes thanks in part to Hunter: he threw for 191 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards and one score.
