Soccer Game Recap: Williams vs. Willows

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winters, Williams was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Willows Honkers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Lorielle Contreras and Fernanda Avila scored both of Williams' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Williams' victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-2 and their overall record up to 2-5-2. As for Willows, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10-5.

Williams has already played their next match (against Colusa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Willows, they will welcome Winters at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
