Softball Recap: South Tama County Comes Up Short

South Tama County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Nevada Cubs, falling 12-2. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Cubs when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Tama County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Nevada, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-13.

South Tama County has already played their next match, a 15-2 loss against Clear Creek-Amana on the 25th. As for Nevada, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Perry on the 25th.
