Softball Recap: Northeast's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northeast had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wapello Indians by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-4 on Thursday.

Northeast pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wapello, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wapello, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-4 defeat against the Rebels on the 3rd.
