Soccer Recap: Classical Academy Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Classical Academy was not quite Pacific Ridge's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Pacific Ridge Firebirds by a score of 2-1. The Caimans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Firebirds earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Classical Academy now has a losing record at 6-7-4. As for Pacific Ridge, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Classical Academy will venture away from home to challenge Santa Fe Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Classical Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Pacific Ridge, they will face off against Francis Parker at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
