Davenport entered their tilt with Woodland on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 5-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Davenport's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Woodland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.

Davenport didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Oilton on the 29th. As for Woodland, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Depew at 6:00 p.m. on September 8.
