The Moundridge Wildcats will take on the Inman Inman Teutons on Friday. Moundridge's defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so Inman's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Moundridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Medicine Lodge as they made off with a 33-7 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted against the Indians since October 21, 2016.

Elijah Roth went supernova, rushing for 276 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Kaizer Kanitz was another key player, rushing for 37 yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Moundridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 336 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Inman came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-13 W against the Cardinals. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Inman Teutons have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Moundridge's record now sits at 7-2. As for Inman, their record is now 8-1.

Moundridge ended up a good deal behind Inman in their previous meeting two weeks ago, losing 22-7. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Inman Teutons' Malachi Brunk, who rushed for 129 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 131 yards and one touchdown while completing 88.9% of his passes.
