Softball Recap: St. Pius X Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Pius X Catholic was the 8-2 winner over Southwest DeKalb when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Lions fell 8-5 to the Panthers on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Lions have lost by exactly three runs.

St. Pius X Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Southwest DeKalb, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

St. Pius X Catholic will welcome North Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest DeKalb, they will challenge Atlanta International at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
