Leigh has gone a perfect 8-0 against Branham recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Leigh Longhorns will be playing at home against the Branham Bruins at 7:00 p.m. Branham took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Leigh, who comes in off a win.

Leigh will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Thursday, then bounced right back against Piedmont Hills on Tuesday. Leigh came out on top against Piedmont Hills by a score of 4-2. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Pirates are ranked 332nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leigh hit Piedmont Hills with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maggie Currie (2), Shani Outlaw, and Emmi Pham.

Meanwhile, Branham managed to keep up with Pioneer until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Branham lost 4-1 to Pioneer.

Branham's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Leigh, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.

Everything went Leigh's way against Branham in their previous meeting back in January, as Leigh made off with a 4-1 win. Does Leigh have another victory up their sleeve, or will Branham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
