Softball Game Preview: McLoud Redskins vs. Ada Cougars

The McLoud Redskins will take on the Ada Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. McLoud's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Ada's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

McLoud is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Harrah just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

McLoud saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Soward, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Ada couldn't beat Tishomingo on Saturday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Cougars fell 11-8 to the Indians. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.

McLoud's defeat dropped their record down to 24-8-1. As for Ada, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16-2.
