Unity Christian had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Spirit Lake Indians. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 14 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Unity Christian pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Spirit Lake, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

Looking ahead, Unity Christian will head out to square off against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove on Thursday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. Spirit Lake has already played their next game (against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
