Soccer Recap: Etiwanda Falls Short of Troy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Etiwanda can now relate to. They fell just short of the Troy Warriors by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.

Etiwanda's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Troy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Etiwanda does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Troy, they will take on Los Alamitos at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Los Alamitos will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
