Granite Hills's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They slipped by the Woodlake Tigers 42-41. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-34 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Woodlake lost, don't look at Mia Navarro. Despite the final result, she posted 17 points and three steals. What's more, Navarro also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Abbey Kelly was another key player, putting up five points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Granite Hills' victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Woodlake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Granite Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-20 loss against Corcoran on the 30th. As for Woodlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-40 defeat against Lindsay on the 30th.
