It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Head-Royce had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Arcata Tigers a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Head-Royce, who have now won 11 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Arcata with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Valentin Robert (2), Kyle Chan, and Ibrahim Rashad.

The victory (which was Head-Royce's seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those seven matchups. As for Arcata, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-3-5.

As of now, neither Head-Royce nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
