Grinnell had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Solon Spartans. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Grinnell's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Solon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grinnell beat the Spartans by a score of 17-15 later that day.
