The Cougars fell just short of the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Plainfield South's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
