Volleyball Recap: Questa Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Questa can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Aaliyah Piper paced Questa's offense, picking up seven kills. Piper got some help from Allison Segura and her 13 assists. Finally, Esperanza Vallejos kept Questa's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Questa's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Questa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Menaul on the 14th.
