Softball Recap: Cairo Takes a Loss

Cairo's last matchup with West Laurens could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Wednesday. The Syrupmakers came up short against the Raiders, falling 8-1. The Syrupmakers have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Cairo's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for West Laurens, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-3.

As of now, neither Cairo nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
