Basketball Recap: Grace Samuelson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Concordia over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder

Concordia saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 42-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grace Samuelson, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Charis Hughes, who posted nine points and eight boards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Logan View/Scribner-Snyder to victory, but perhaps none more so than Neveah Vacha, who earned 15 points and five steals. Vacha has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Miley Silva, who put up ten points and three steals.

Concordia has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Concordia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-44 defeat against Arlington on the 3rd. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 37-17 win against David City on the 3rd.
