Softball Recap: Colfax-Mingo Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Colfax-Mingo was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the BCLUW Comets. The Tigerhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2023.

Colfax-Mingo has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for BCLUW, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Colfax-Mingo will face off against English Valleys at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for BCLUW, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-0 loss against Pella on the 28th.
