Soccer Recap: San Marin Takes a Loss

San Marin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Branson Bulls, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while the Bulls are ranked 40th).

San Marin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Branson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1-1.

San Marin will face off against Petaluma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Branson, they will challenge Tamalpais at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Branson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
