Softball Recap: Holy Family Snags 14th Win in Last 15 Games

While Holy Family put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Monarch. The Tigers blew past the Coyotes 12-0. Considering the Tigers have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jaelyn Sandoval was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Hill, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Holy Family hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive games.

Holy Family has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Monarch, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Holy Family wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Windsor on the 9th. As for Monarch, they have also already played their next game, a 15-2 loss against Legacy on the 8th.
