ED White hasn't had much luck against St. Augustine recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Commanders are taking a road trip to challenge the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
ED White is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Pine Forest 41-20. The victory was nothing new for the Commanders as they're now sitting on three straight.

ED White's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but King Boylston led the charge by throwing for 185 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 65 yards and one touchdown. Joseph Williams helped out on the ground, rushing for 94 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: ED White was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 190 rushing yards in seven consecutive contests.
ED White didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jacquari Parks and Davonte Mango. Mango has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last four times he's played. Another thorn in Pine Forest's side was Johnny Duckett, who picked up three sacks and made seven total tackles.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Augustine). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Arnold 70-21. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Yellow Jackets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Marlins are ranked 260th).
ED White better keep an eye on Durell Preston. He was instrumental in St. Augustine's win, rushing for 85 yards and three scores on only nine carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Preston has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Smith, who picked up 44 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
ED White's record is now 9-2. As for St. Augustine, their record now sits at 10-1.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Boylston and Brenton James. Boylston just won't slow down this season and has thrown 25 touchdowns (and and only 4 picks) while averaging 184.5 passing yards per game. James has been a dominant force too and has thrown 32 touchdowns while averaging 231.3 passing yards per game.
ED White might still be hurting after the 38-14 loss they got from St. Augustine when the teams last played back in November of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Commanders were down 21-0.
