Basketball Game Preview: Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons vs. Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks

The Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons will challenge the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Archie Williams will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Archie Williams was able to grind out a solid victory over Vallejo, taking the game 30-19. Given the Peregrine Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Redhawks are ranked 875th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Tamalpais was beaten by Redwood 73-37 on Friday. The Red Tailed Hawks haven't had much luck with the Giants recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Archie Williams has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Tamalpais, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Everything came up roses for Archie Williams against Tamalpais in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 66-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Archie Williams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
