Softball Recap: Thomson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Burke County on Wednesday, Thomson came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Elbert County Blue Devils on Monday, falling 16-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Thomson's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Elbert County, their victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-3.

As of now, neither Thomson nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
