Central Catholic faced Andover in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Raiders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Golden Warriors. The win was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Central Catholic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 29-27, 25-19, 25-20.
Julie Hall paced Central Catholic's offense, picking up 25 kills. Hall got some help from Madison Blanchet and her 46 assists. Sydney Faria controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
