Football Recap: Minnesota Valley Lutheran Takes a Loss

Minnesota Valley Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Jackson County Central Huskies 49-7. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Huskies are ranked 20th).

Minnesota Valley Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jackson County Central, their record now sits at 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will host Luverne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals' defense has only allowed 9.6 points per game this season, so the Chargers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Jackson County Central, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Le Sueur-Henderson at 7:00 p.m.
