Speedway lost a heartbreaker to Park Tudor when they met back in May of 2025, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Sparkplugs fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 12-10. Even though they lost, the Sparkplugs' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Lucas Devault made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Gage Beiswinger, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Speedway's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-15. As for Park Tudor, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Speedway will host Ben Davis at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Park Tudor, they will be playing at home against Crawfordsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
