Volleyball Recap: Portland Comes Up Short

Portland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Owensboro Catholic Aces.

Portland's loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Owensboro Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Portland will challenge Monroe County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Owensboro Catholic, they will face off against Owensboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
