Soccer Recap: Swett Comes Up Short

Swett lost against Salesian College Preparatory on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Swett Warriors fell just short of the Salesian College Preparatory Pride by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1183rd, while the Pride are ranked 445th).

Swett dropped their record down to 0-13-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Salesian College Preparatory, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1-1.

Swett has already played their next game (against St. Patrick-St. Vincent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Salesian College Preparatory wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Vallejo on the 30th.
